- Wreath making: with the head gardener on 8, 10 and 12 December, 10.30am to 1pm or 1.30pm to 4pm. £40, adults only, maximum 15 a session, mulled apple juice and mince pies included.

- Castle: 11am, last entry 3pm. Garden and park: 9am to 4pm. Carpenter’s tearoom: 10am to 3.30pm.
- Before it opens: the castle is closed from Monday 23 to Friday 27 November, and again on Monday 30 November. The grounds stay open.
- Garden trail: Father Christmas has “had a crash landing in the garden” and children hunt for his missing reindeer. Trail sheets are £3 from Visitor Reception, including a prize.
- Father Christmas will be in the castle’s Green Room in December. No dates, times or prices have been published yet. The Trust’s page says to “come back to find out how to book later”. We will add them here.
- Wreath making: in the walled garden glasshouse on 1, 3 and 5 December, 10.30am to 1pm or 1.30pm to 4pm. £40, not suitable for children.

Brockhampton: ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas from 28 November
