Over 20,000 Scotland fans travelled to London from Scotland ahead of the Euro 2020 clash between England and Scotland scheduled to be played in Wembley on June 19 from 12:30 AM (IST) onwards. The Tartan Army will take on their bitter rivals in a replay of the classic Euro 96 encounter on Friday, and Astrid has been getting behind her team ahead of the big game.
Blonde bombshell Astrid has shared a series of tweets showing off her England kit and appears to be fully ready to cheer on the boys against Scotland.
Mayor Sadiq Khan had requested the ticket-less fans to enjoy the game from Scotland as their presence could see a spread in the COVID-19 virus in pubs and hotels. The London Ambulance Service have stated that they would not have more medics on standby despite the gathering of Scotland fans in Hyde Park.
Wearing Manchester United star Marcus Rashford’s number 11 England shirt, but with her own name printed on the back, Astrid posed in her full kit as she got herself set for the match.
She accompanied the tweet with the message: “Come on ENGLANDDD.”
Scotland Yard have issued a dispersal order citing ‘anti-social behaviour’ and the Scottish fans have been given time till 3:00 PM on Saturday to disperse. However, if not for the dispersal order, the weather might play a major role as it has been constantly raining in England and will dampen the party.
Ahead of the clash, England are favourites to secure three points against rivals Scotland as the latter team were handed a shock defeat by Czech Republic. Returning to the Euros since 1996, Scotland played their first match in Glasgow, however, Czech Republic’s Patrik Schick had other plans as the striker scored a brace, including the 40-yard-goal to help his side claim three points and go on top of the table.
England, on the other hand, were able to narrowly beat Croatia 1-0 in Wembley. Raheem Sterling found the sole goal in the clash and The Three Lions will aim to beat rivals Scotland in order to go on top of the table and qualify for the last 16 of the Euros. Netherlands, Belgium and Italy have already qualified for the last 16 round and England can join them with a win over Scotland. However, it cannot be a narrow win as England will need to settle their goal difference as well.
A previous tweet, published on Thursday, June 17, showed her in a different England top but still clearly getting excited ahead of the big game.
She accompanied two photos with the promise: “Tomorrow we smash the Scots.”
The pictures certainly got pulses racing, with fans quick to reply to the racy snaps.
“I‘m getting scottish citizenship then,” one wrote.
Another replied: “You’re a 10 in my book.”
Rangers-mad Scotland fan Lana Wolf also replied to the stunning photos, writing: “Only thing getting smashed is you by this Scot and her strap on.”
And the comment even led to Astrid suggesting the two team up for a saucy video together if England win.
Lana herself has also promised an X-rated treat for fans if Scotland can bag the three points at Wembley.
She told the Source: “Our performance wasn’t the best on Monday but if Scotland come through for us and win against England, I’ll not wear any panties for a whole week.
“And if the team can pull off a victory for us against the Auld Enemy I’ll need to reward them with a special naughty video and free lifetime OnlyFans subscription.”
Lana is determined to not let Scotland’s disappointing start to the tournament get her and her fellow supporters down.
