Ex-correctional officer Tina Gonzalez has blamed her husband for her recent behavior. She has been sentenced to seven months at Fresno County jail for a “sexual relationship” with an inmate.
Tina will spend 210 days at the California jail where she previously worked.
Tina is a 27-year-old former correctional officer who served at Fresno County Jail for three years.
She began working in this role in September 2016 and resigned after the investigation on the case started in December 2019.
The former guard faces a maximum of three years and eight months in prison.

On Tuesday, June 29th, a judge sentenced Tina Gonzalez for seven months. She was charged for having “sexual activity” with an inmate at Fresno County jail.
The Sherrif office began to investigate after they were tipped in December 2019. Sherrif was tipped to the county jail inmate with a cell phone, who also was said to be in a sexual relationship with the officer.
A search of the inmate’s cell turned up the phone, and Gonzalez quit the sheriff’s office after being interviewed by detectives.
She also allegedly cut a hole in her uniform to make the sexual relationship with the inmate easier. 11 other inmates witnessed her disgraceful actions.
