SNOOKER STAR NEIL ROBERTSON’S INCREDIBLE LOCKDOWN HAIR STYLE

Snooker star Neil Robertson sent fans wild with his lockdown hair as he beat Ronnie O’Sullivan to his first Tour Championship.

The Australian got revenge on the former No.1 with a 10-4 victory at Celtic Manor, Newport, Wales.

It saw the 39-year-old hand his opponent an unwanted record of becoming the first player to lose five ranking finals in the same season.

As Robertson climbed to third in the world rankings, though, viewers were more distracted by his hairstyle.

The snooker star is most regularly seen with a his blonde hair flattened down and combed to one side when he steps up to the table.

But he donned some curls for the big event in Wales, quite literally letting his hair down as they springy locks covered his head.

And fans were left in awe of the world No.3’s choice of hairstyle for the Tour Championship win.

“Neil Robertson in superb form right now, with world class hair to match,” one supporter said.

Another commented: “Neil Robertson’s lockdown hair is making my day!

While a third added: “The more I see Neil Robertson, the more I know I need to embrace that curly hair style.”

And another simply said: “Neil Robertson’s hair is absolutely gorgeous!”

But others believed that Robertson had not quite got himself out of the lockdown style.

“What the f*** has happened to Neil Robertson’s hair,” a fourth viewer asked.

A fifth said: “F*** me, thought my haircut was s*** and then I’ve just seen Neil Robertson.”

While a sixth compared him to another curly-haired hero, with: “Neil Robertson doing a Bob Ross with that hair.”

Robertson had only won once since December which saw him secure the UK Championship last year.

And the 39-year-old was struggling against O’Sullivan in the first session, which ended 4-4.

But the Australian surged to victory with 93, 75, 123 and 199-point wins over the next four frames before closing out victory in Wales.
