Dubbed the ‘most successful podcast in British history’, My Dad Wrote A Porno began in 2015 and has racked up over 430million downloads globally with its six-series run as well as a spin-off ‘Footnotes’ episodes breaking down each chapter.

Hosts Jamie Morton, Alice Levine and James Cooper have confirmed the much-loved – and extremely filthy – podcast will end this year with two final chapters and a special Footnotes episode featuring an interview with the elusive author, Rocky Flintstone himself.

Jamie, Alice and James said in a statement: ‘This show has been the backbone of our lives for the past 8 years. We’ve had new jobs, new homes, break ups, breakdowns and a truck load of Chilean Chardonnay.

But the three of us, sitting around the kitchen table reading Rocky’s bad dad porn has been a constant, a guaranteed belly laugh no matter what was going on elsewhere.

‘We know it has been a comfort (and cause of nausea) to millions of listeners too, and it’s been our privilege to be an escape to a different world. The community we have built together around the globe is something we couldn’t be prouder of.’

They added: ‘It’s with a heavy heart that we’ve reached the final chapter of our podcast. But we have a strong feeling, this isn’t the last you’ll hear of Belinda…’

My Dad Wrote A Porno began eight years ago when Jamie discovered his dad – who stays out of the spotlight and goes by the pen-name of Rocky Flintstone – had been writing erotica in his garden shed, known as The Pavilion.

The books, titled Belinda Blinked, following the life and career of Belinda Blumenthal, a businesswoman in the pots and pans industry – which is fraught with questionable sexual escapades.
