If there was one celeb we’d have put money on sticking with blonde hair, it would have been Love Island 2021 star Liberty Poole. We’d have been proven wrong though, as she’s just opted to completely switch up her trademark light look.
Liberty unveiled her new brunette hair colour on her Instagram Stories, where she spoke of her shock at actually liking the darker shade – despite being a blonde through-and-through.
“Realising that I actually maybe should have been brunette all my life,” she wrote, adding a poll box for her followers to vote for which colour they prefer.

“Can’t lie, I kinda like it. It makes my eyes pop, but I’ve been blonde all my life. What do I do?” she agonised.
Liberty’s question implies this isn’t a permanent new shade, and that the look was likely accomplished with the help of a wig. The issue she has now is whether or not to make the look more than just a fun experiment.
Since Lib has previously vowed to always do what she wants with her beauty look, and not to bow to pressure from outsiders, we wouldn’t be surprised if she properly went brunette eventually.

As of now, Liberty’s followers are weighing more towards her keeping her blonde hair in the poll, with a 70/30 split in favour of lighter locks. It’s easy to see how Lib could be swayed towards darker hair though, as the rich brunette shade really does make her blue eyes pop.
OK! recently sat down with the 22 year old for an exclusive chat about her life post-Love Island villa. Lib revealed that she’s constantly hit with pressure to look perfect, but reminds herself that much of social media is an illusion.
