On Tuesday, Wheeler spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth, and residence when he appeared before the Medway magistrates court.

On Friday, he got apprehended and charged on Monday.

Cullum was remanded in jail and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, May 13.

Officers are constantly searching the area in and around Ackholt Wood, where public members discovered Julia’s corpse.

The day after discovering her corpse, police published a photo of a guy “crucially essential” to the inquiry who was in the vicinity.

However, Kent Police later stated that they were no longer looking for information on him.
