His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met Saturday evening with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in the city of Oran. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them, as well as several issues and developments of common interest. His Highness the Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani attended the meeting.
His Highness the Amir also attended the opening ceremony of the 19th Oran 2022 Mediterranean Games.
His Highness the Amir was welcomed upon arrival at the Oran International Airport ‘Ahmed Ben Bella’ by the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
His Highness is attending a dinner banquet hosted by the Algerian President
His Highness the Amir was welcomed upon arrival also by a number of ministers of the Algerian government, HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Algeria Abdulaziz Ali Al Naama, the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the State of Qatar Dr. Mustafa Boutoura and the Qatar embassy members.
Upon his arrival at the airport, an official reception ceremony was held for His Highness the Amir.
His Highness is accompanied by His Highness the Personal Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
